WHO WE ARE
Whispering Pines Youth Camp Inc. a non-profit was established in 2020 by Michael and LaVada Watson and daughters to provide a nature camp for young minority girls who typically are not taught about nature and the riches our environment can provide. The camp is located 45 minutes South of the Atlanta airport it is nestled on 100+ acres in the quaint town of Hogansville, Ga. Michael is an Executive with the Natural Resource Conservation Service and LaVada worked as a Corporate Executive Leader for many years. The family has teamed up to bring together a dynamic youth summer camp with the mission to provide youth with a direct focus on nature and the role it plays in everyday life.
MISSION STATEMENT
Whispering Pines Youth Camp mission is to create a dynamic Youth summer camp experience that provide our youth with a direct focus on Nature and the role it plays in their life.

HOW TO BE A CAMP COUNSELOR
Criteria: Age 18 or older
Enjoy working with children
Do not mind taking a week to be trained
COVID-19 vaccinated
Previous camp counseling experience a Plus
Willing to work 6 weeks, one week on and one week off with pay
